What MyView keeps, and what it does not.
MyView does not collect anything.
What the app stores
- How your dashboard looks — which cards are where, how many rows, the clock's face and typeface, the background you chose. Kept on the device and shared with your other displays through your personal cloud account, so each one looks the same.
- Your choices on each display — which photos to show, which home and accessories, whether the screen stays on. These stay on the device they were made on.
- Nothing from your photos, your home or your music. Photos are shown on screen and are not copied anywhere. Your home's rooms, accessories and cameras are read through the system's own home framework and never leave the device. The app shows what is playing and controls the system player; it does not keep a record of it.
What the app sends, and where
- Nowhere. There is no backend and no account. The app talks to the system frameworks on the device and to your personal cloud account for the settings above, and to nothing else.
What the app does not do
- No analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifiers.
- No accounts, no sign-up, no email address.
- No servers operated by the developer.
Children
The app is rated 4+ and collects nothing, from anyone.
